Ronwen Williams
He dared to be different and reached for his dreams!! Ronwen Williams is a decorated professional footballer plying his trade in South Africa for the Premier Soccer League, as a goalkeeper. He followed his heart by starting his own football foundation, The Ronwen 30 Foundation, as a testimony, to have soccer be a medium to create change among the community that made and molded him in the Eastern Cape, especially the Northern Areas. He is big on life skills and education and is currently a candidate at the Johan Cruyff Institute on the Sports Management track.

Yolanda Freeman
Yolanda’s goal in life is to be the difference. She exudes positivity and lives by this motto, wanting every space and place she touches, to leave it better than she found it. She is one of the 3 executive directors of ‘The Ronwen 30 Foundation’, is a sports fanatic having played football herself and representing, Eastern Cape Provincial Soccer in 1996. She is a manager for one of the big clothing retail companies in the Gqeberha.

Roshni Johnson
A stay at home mother of two, Roshni Johnson has a heart for the vulnerable with keen interest in children’s rights. She is an executive director of ‘The Ronwen 30 Foundation’, leaning into her expertise in accounting and bookkeeping, she manages the financial side of the foundation.

Ricardo Katza
Ricardo knows both sides of football, the good and the bad, and he shares this openly and honestly with the children of the foundation that he comes face to face with, using his background and his professional football career, to make it all come to life. His gift is being able to make the learners understand their choices to prosperous lives and that it starts now! He passionately fulfills the role as head-coach within the foundation’s structure, with well-balanced programmes targeted at tomorrow’s stars, bringing out their best. Ricardo heads up the sports division at a private school in Gauteng.
Mark
Mark Haskins
God, family and football. These three words, best describe Mark Haskins, who lives by ‘do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.’ Mark has played professional football, but has graduated from playing to coaching and analysing the game on local radio and TV. He is keen to better the future of the game for players who will graduate into the professional ranks and has a keen eye on the scouting and management of professional footballers
Maurice
Maurice Camelio
Goalkeeping is his expertise and the reason why Africa’s best chose this particular position. Maurice Camelio is a father and grandfather and the uncle to Ronwen Williams. He played football from the ages of 9-41 years old and also played a role as scout for a Banyana Banyana player in 2020. Maurice is still firmly rooted in the game and having coached in previous years with the notion that sport provides an outlet to young stars to dream and keep out of harms way. He continues cementing these values through the foundation as a director, when he is not at work at the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality.

Romy Titus
Romy Titus is a sports broadcaster and media strategist. She is passionate about sport and how the medium brings about change through education – the pillars on which ‘The Ronwen 30 Foundation’ is built. She fulfills the role of managing director in this space and places high emphasis on education, having completed her MBA at Henley Business School recently

Your dreams are valid!

Ronwen Williams, a goalkeeper for Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club and the captain of the national football team, Bafana Bafana, serves as the inspiration behind the Ronwen 30 Foundation. With football as his first love, Ronwen signed with his first club, SuperSport United, at the age of 12 and dedicated 18 years to Matsatsantsa before moving to Masandawana
